Dr. Peter Kim — DDS.

Dr. Kim has been serving the Sacramento community for over eight years, and he is well loved by families for his personalized approach to care and delivering excellent treatments. He always makes himself available to his patients, even after hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays, when they have emergency dental concerns like root canals. He enjoys forming bonds with the patients in his care, developing lifelong relationships to ensure their beautiful smiles can last a lifetime. Dr. Kim grew up in the Bay Area, where he completed his undergraduate education at UC Berkeley and his doctorate in dental surgery at UOP, San Francisco. Dr. Kim holds dental implant certification from the world-renowned AIC Education Center and Invisalign® certification. He is highly skilled in a variety of cosmetic treatments, including professional teeth whitening and veneers. Through thorough oral exams, patient education, and transparent discussions, Dr. Kim and his staff look out for patients’ oral health and take care of their dental needs with the highest quality of care. The practice’s philosophy is based on integrity, and every team member is committed to empowering patients to make decisions that are best for their health. Dr. Divleen Baines. — DDS.

Dr. Divleen Bains is a general dentist known for her gentle and patient approach to care, helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental visits. Dr. Bains received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) with honors from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA, where she developed a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care. She is committed to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through high-quality dentistry in a comfortable and welcoming environment. To stay at the forefront of modern dental care, Dr. Bains has completed continuing education courses in digital dentistry, pediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontic aligners. This advanced training allows her to offer a wide range of services tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Originally from Southern California, Dr. Bains now lives in Folsom with her husband and their Australian Shepherd, Waffles. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, reading, and hosting family and friends.

Dr. Ryan Ngo — DMD.

Dr. Ryan Ngo grew up in Vietnam and moved to Los Angeles about 10 years ago. He studied at UCLA, where he earned his degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics, along with a minor in Biomedical Science. He later completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at California Northstate University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ngo has since made Elk Grove his home and is enjoying the change of pace (and yes—the lack of traffic!). He loves getting to know his patients and is dedicated to creating a welcoming, stress-free experience. His philosophy is simple: dentistry should focus on prevention, education, and building lasting relationships to keep every smile healthy for years to come. When he’s not in the office, you can usually find Dr. Ngo traveling, trying out new foods, or out on a hiking trail.

Maria M. — Registered Dental Hygienist

Maria is very dedicated to her patients and her five children. She graduated from the University of California, San Francisco in 1988. Maria has loved many aspects of her job since joining Sierra Oaks Dental as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1993; however, she specializes in delivering patient care and forming relationships with her patients that last a lifetime. Maria’s commitment to her patients is remarkable, and her patients have the same level of commitment to her.

Roman L. — Registered Dental Hygienist

Jamie B. — Registered Dental Hygienist

Jamie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of California, Sacramento, before going on to complete her dental hygiene studies at Carrington College, where she graduated with honors. Since becoming a registered dental hygienist in 2014, Jamie has been dedicated to promoting oral health. With a strong passion for educating patients about proper home care, she strives to help others maintain healthy, confident smiles. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending quality time with her husband, her two young sons and their energetic French Bulldog.

Viktoriia G. — Lead Dental Assistant

Viktoriia graduated from dental school in Moscow and briefly practiced as a pediatric dentist before moving to California. Today, She is proud to be apart of Dr. Kim’s office, where she assists in keeping the workplace clean, organized, and fully equipped. She enjoy supporting doctors, assistants, and the front desk team to make sure our patients receive excellent care. Outside of work, she love hiking and spending time with her little dog, Alusien.

Angela K. — Front Office Manager

Angela is a dedicated professional with 7 years of experience in the dental field, including both dental office operations and the dental implant corporate sector. She holds a degree in Business from California State University, Sacramento and brings a detail-oriented, dependable approach, along with strong leadership, communication, and adaptability skills to every role she takes on. Outside of work, Angela is a proud pet parent to two rescued fur babies: Mondoo and Goma. While she enjoys being active and playing sports, she also loves the slower pace of home, where she can relax with a movie or read up on investing and finance.

Alicia R. — Finance Manager

Alicia Rennard is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in finance and 7 years in the dental industry. She brings a strong blend of analytical skills and client-focused service to every role she takes on. Outside of work, Alicia enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. You’ll often find her camping, paddle boarding, or taking care of her chickens. Her balanced lifestyle reflects both her dedication to her career and her love for the outdoors.

Betty J. — Accountant

Betty studied accounting at college in Korea and San Francisco and joined our team in January 2017. Before she worked at Sierra Oaks Dental, she worked at a CDA office in San Francisco and as part of a Samsung information systems team in San Jose. Her second son is a musical actor in Hollywood!

Peter J. – Property Maintenance Manager

Peter joined Sierra Oaks Dental in the Fall of 2019 and has worked hard since then to make sure our office is always clean and organized. In addition to making everyone smile with his positive attitude, Peter enjoys making improvements to the building so the staff and patients have the best possible experience. In his free time he enjoys gardening and cooking.
