Every year in March, we honor National Dentist’s Day (March 6th) to celebrate the dedication, commitment to excellence and daily efforts of our dentists. This year is no different, and we are truly grateful for Dr. Peter Kim, Dr. William Altig and Dr. Eric Gregg. We hope you join us in saying thanks to these professionals who truly want to help your smile thrive all year round! Spring is on the way, and there’s no better time to schedule your next dental cleaning and exam.
Did you know…?
In 5000 B.C. ancient Sumerians actually believed cavities came from tooth worms.
In 2600 B.C. the earliest dentist was called Hesy-Ra from ancient Egypt.
In 1530 the first dental book was written. The author was Artzney Buchlein, who wrote “Little Medicinal Book for All Kinds of Diseases and Infirmities of the Teeth.”
In 1990 – cosmetic dentistry became recognized, with colorful braces, dental veneers and implants, and teeth bleaching.
Our dentists are basically “smile doctors” who work relentlessly to keep your mouth healthy, That’s important for your oral health, physical health, and mental health (self-confidence). Taking good care of your teeth and gums daily followed by regular professional dental cleanings and checkups can help you keep your natural teeth throughout your life.
How can you support National Dentist’s Day?
