We love celebrating Father’s Day and this year we are excited to announce that there are a few new Dads in our office celebrating this holiday for the first time. Congratulations and welcome to the joys of fatherhood!
We learn so much from our Fathers like how to ride a bike, how to change a tire and sometimes how to tell a corny Dad joke! Let’s make sure they know how much we appreciate them and take the time to thank our Dad’s this weekend, whether biological or not. Father-figures like grandfathers, brothers, other relatives or close friends can also give fatherly advice and support. Thank the ones you love by spending quality time together. If you are socially or geographically distant reach out by phone or video chat to wish them Happy Father’s Day!
It’s no surprise that Dads play a big role in early-childhood oral hygiene habits. Brushing and flossing together regularly instead of just asking “did you brush your teeth?” can make a big impact on the quality of your child’s dental health. Take an active role in your child’s dentistry, go with them to their appointments and set a good example by making sure you are getting your regular check-ups as well. And have a Happy Father’s Day from Sierra Oaks Dental.
